Legend of zelda link between worlds zelda
Getting lots of retro Zelda feels, and also really enjoy the new puzzle solving aspects. Had a bit of a play at Comic-con, wasn’t that impressed but bought it anyway. The throw back to the overworld and the game sounds being the same is super awesome. It really adds a new layer to the dungeons/puzzle solving. It is so good and crazy addictive! Although I was sceptical when it was announced, I really enjoy how you can turn into a painting. Kirsty – Bought it today on the way home from work and have consequently lost the last two hours. Though annoying that when you die, you have to buy back items. Terry – Loving the classic style gameplay. I had the pleasure of receiving some feedback from some fellow Geekbombers and what they thought of the game so far. But he does eventually offer you the option to buy these items for the pricey sum of 800 rupees! I got to the point where I would save before doing anything so that I could just reload if I died, but eventually you will want to buy the gear as they tie in with side quests. What does annoy me about the game is that the mysterious squatter, Ravio, who takes over your house (very rude in my opinion!) is the guy you need to hire your gear from (standard bow, hammer, boomerang, bombs etc.), but if you die he thieves it back off you! I personally find it annoying that you need to then go back home to hire some more gear with your hard earned rupees. It opens you up to a new mind of problem solving from every angle. It lets you get to places you wouldn’t otherwise be able to reach. This adds a whole NEW LEVEL of puzzle solving, and damn it’s addictive! This allows you to travel through wall crevices, and along walls including around the outside of the dungeons. This ancient bracelet lets you dispatch from the wall to become 3D again. Yuga turns you in to a painting, but luckily you’re wearing an ancient bracelet that the squatter, Ravio, gave you in your house. Now this is where your 2D wall merging power comes in. You then run off to the 3 dungeons, and in the first one you get turned into a painting by cranky Yuga. Luckily by the time you stumble across Zelda she is still intact and hands you one of the Triforce pendants, but shortly afterward is nicked by Yuga. Yuga has a fascination with turning people into paintings, especially the descendants of the Seven Sages, including Zelda! Eventually I ended up in a cathedral facing some man/woman (I’m not even sure? I don’t want to judge and make assumptions based by appearance, it can be whatever it wants to be!) named Yuga. Of course first things first, I waste time trying to explore and break every pot that I stumble upon. It’s set hundreds of years in the future, but has the same map, and Ganon is long gone.

Shigeru Miyamoto later hinted at the game's premise, saying that he would be interested in "creating something new maybe based on, or starting from, A Link To The Past." The game was finally revealed on Apon a Nintendo Direct broadcast. The next few days I did NOTHING but lay in bed playing A Link Between Worlds, and you know what? I LOVED IT! And here’s why!Ī Link between worlds has the same Hyrule as A Link To The Past, but as close to a sequel as you will see. We are talking about a new game, but it takes much of what has been done on previous consoles.
LEGEND OF ZELDA LINK BETWEEN WORLDS ZELDA SERIES
We are already preparing a new game, a game in the series for the Nintendo 3DS, but don’t think that it is a direct sequel to the Zelda titles released on DS. The game was first announced by series producer Eiji Aonuma, who told the Portuguese site "My Games" that development on an original game for 3DS was underway: “ The title also features StreetPass capability, in which players set up a customized version of Shadow Link with specific items and a bounty which is transferred to the receiver, who can then battle it. Its most touted new feature is the ability for Link to turn into a drawing and move along the surface of walls, which is used in many of the game's puzzles and traveling between the two worlds.Īnother new mechanic is the ability to rent nearly every weapon in the game from the beginning from Ravio's Rental Shop, as opposed to gaining them in a specific order in dungeons, allowing players to form their own unique way of making it through them.

The game features the top-down two-dimensional gameplay of older console Zelda titles and previous handheld entries, with the player controlling Link as he explores Hyrule and its counterpart, Lorule, defeating enemies with weapons (such as the returning Master Sword, bow, hook shot, hammer, and the new Tornado Rod) and making his way through various dungeons.
